Chamber of Commerce of Salerno
The Salerno Chamber of Commerce has the objective of improving the enterprise system and implementing a wide development policy in individual sectors by providing monitoring services, knowledge management strategies and economic information, as well as developing relations with entrepreneurial activities. In doing so, it hopes to bring the Chamber closer to the economic system through a continuous and open dialogue with the professional associations.
Established in order to favour the internationalization of companies of the Salerno province, INTERTRADE is a public-owned enterprise of the Chamber of Commerce that encourages promotional projects for the enterprise system. It especially provides small and medium enterprises which are interested in entering foreign markets or want to consolidate their position with important services and information. INTERTRADE organizes activities for international management aimed at the arrangement of events, trade missions, and workshops in order to increase the efficiency and improve the image of the local companies.
The public-owned enterprise for the Salerno Port System has the goal of favouring and encouraging the development of sea-port activities in the Salerno province. It deals with the planning and realization of infrastructural projects for the improvement and growth of the Salerno port areas, customer services and yachting/boating activities, together with public institutions and private entrepreneurs. Acting as an enterprise of the Salerno Chamber of Commerce, it also realizes economic and financial transactions according to the programme guidelines established by the Region of Campania.
